SYNOPSIS
A worm was born from the
smallest molecules in the
world; now it embarks on an
endless journey in search of a
distant galaxy.

DIRECTOR’S NOTES

I looked at the pixel, the smallest unit of the image, a tiny white cube enclosing an infinite and indestructible story made of moving molecules. This single element, in its dual electronic and emotional nature, has the power to influence and transform the entire galaxy. In a short film that builds up gradually, a worm was born from the world and the world was born from the worm.

I discovered that beauty lies not only in the grand nuances but also in the small lives of the universe, like that worm buried by the weight of the world. This led me to explore the emotion and immortality behind a simple pixel, those invisible and primordial molecules that compose and decompose everything, never dying but always transforming in an infinite concert.

In the mortality of the image I sought a means to find immortality. In In Memory Of I depicted the beauty of destruction and in All End? the fascination with the inevitable end. Here, I reached the ultimate limit of the degraded image. An image can always deteriorate and disappear, but when you analyze the smallest molecule of something you have already reached infinity.
